Alkaline Water
Statistical analysis revealed that alkaline water provided higher longevity in terms of decelerating the aging process while increasing the survival function. In an animal study, the subjects treated with alkaline water had a longer lifespan (Evidence-Based Complementary Alternative Medicine. 2016 May).
Coffee
Both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee plays a role in reducing the risk of all-cause mortality. Studies found that those who drink 4 cups per day had the largest risk reductions for all causes of mortality. However, this research is based on black coffee. Therefore, adding milk or sugar should be considered (Journal of Human Nutrition and Dietetics. 2019 Jun).
The consumption of six or more cups of caffeinated coffee daily has also been linked to a 36% reduction in non-melanoma skin cancer in caucasian women (European Journal of Cancer Prevention. 2007 October).
Another study found that the daily consumption of 500 ml of a dark roast coffee blend has a beneficial protective effect on human DNA integrity in both men and women. The level of DNA strand breaks in the coffee group decreased compared to the control group (European Journal of Nutrition. 2018 November).
Coffee intake of four cups per day was associated with a decreased risk of postmenopausal breast cancer, according to a meta-analysis (Nutrients. January 2018).
Juicing
One large study shows how the risk of Alzheimer's was reduced among those who drank fruit and vegetable juices three or more times per week (American Journal of Medicine. 2008 March).
Another study found that a 3-day juice-based diet altered the intestinal microbiota associated with weight loss, increased vasodilation, and decreased lipid oxidation (Scientific Reports. 2017 May).
